We got permission to install our first 10 SLAP poles, from the Pier to Surfer’s Point in Ventura, California. But we’re not just going to install the poles.

We are going to have a huge event on June 29th, along with the installation of the SLAP poles.

We will start up at city hall, at the top of California Street at noon. We will then march down to the beach, carrying iMatter protest signs.

Then, once we get to the Promenade, by the beach, we will install the SLAP poles.

Once the poles are all in, we’ll all gather at Promenade Park (down by Surfer’s Point) for a youth rock festival, featuring five awesome youth bands, like State of Emergency and Dirty Words.  There will also be inspiring speakers speakers, and Kids vs Global Warming will have their booth for teeshirts and canvas bags and info on what you can do to stop global warming.

Admission is FREE and everyone is invited. Please come, and invite your friends too!
